Zuiderpoortbrug, Ghent

This pedestrian bridge connects Bellevue Park and the Stropkaai, crossing the Scheldt river. A double access ramp was built on the Stropkaai side, so that the bridge consists of 3 branches.

A pre-tensioned concrete arch holds the bridge over the Scheldt river.

Gamaco was involved  from the design phase through to the works, sharing its knowledge of pre-tensioned concrete structures with the Arch&Teco engineers.
